Phoenix Plaza is a supra-regional shopping centre that makes a central part of MEGA MIXED USE project Phoenix Park – City of the Future. Phoenix Group will build this project on its site which is located in Sesvete - Zagreb. The site’s total size amounts to approximately 200,000 m². In March of 2009 - the quality of the „Phoenix Park – City of the future“ project was recognized by the MIPIM's (Cannes, France) experts. This future city, situated in Zagreb – the capital of Croatia, was chosen as one of six multi-purpose projects with the highest potential in Europe.

ARCHITECTURE OF PHOENIX PLAZA – A PERFECT HARMONY OF TECHNOLOGY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

The Architectural Society of Zagreb has chosen the project of “Studio ORG” as the best solution for Phoenix Park. This choice has enabled the constant urban order in the area of Phoenix Plaza.

The renowned names of Croatian architecture - Ćurković&Zidarić architectural studio – have designed the external surfaces of Phoenix Plaza. The emphasis is on innovative and sustainable architecture, sophisticated interior design and the use of natural materials such as - stone, brick and wood, together with state of the art technology. The materials used in designing the external surfaces of Phoenix Plaza create a very interesting combination of warm and cold surfaces – brick and glass. The shapes and forms created by the use of bricks are inspired by one vital part of Croatian cultural heritage – the “Lace from the island of Hvar”. Glass panels will have an ecological role of solar collectors.

The creative team of Chapman Taylor from London is in charge of the interior design. These leading architects and designers have specialized in shopping centre design. Using the modern design solutions and materials of the highest quality – they will achieve the perfect harmony of form, colour and texture. The final result will be – comfortable and attractive space.
